Building-set outs
Building-set outs
Setout surveys involve the accurate transfer of an architectural / engineering design from plan to the ground. Exterior walls, gridlines and/or other nominated points of your structure are typically marked on the ground by the surveyor prior to and during construction.
This ensures builders can follow the design while constructing, guarantees projects are completed within the boundary line and make sure the construction team completes the project exactly to the final plan.
A building set-out is required when building any structure. Whether it be a small house, large commercial building or just adding an extension.
These generally require a title re-establishment survey to be performed prior to commencement, so that the relationship between building and title boundaries is known.
